
ROBERT LINDSEY-NASSIF
Composer, Lyricist, Playwright
Rob has worked on and off-Broadway with Hal Prince, Stephen Sondheim, Arthur Miller and Disney Feature Animation.
On Broadway, Rob composed the score for Carol Burnett’s play, HOLLYWOOD ARMS. He arranged the dance and instrumental arrangements for Stephen Sondheim’s musical BOUNCE which premiered at the Kennedy Center and the Goodman Theatre, all directed by Harold Prince.
Rob’s Off-Broadway musicals are FLIGHT OF THE LAWNCHAIR MAN (directed by Hal Prince and Lynne Taylor-Corbett), OPAL, and HONKY-TONK HIGHWAY.
Regionally, his musicals include ELIOT NESS (directed by David Esbjornson at Denver Center Theatre and Cleveland Playhouse), FLIGHT OF THE LAWNCHAIR MAN (directed by Harold Prince at the Ahmanson in LA and Prince Theatre in Philadelphia) and HONKY-TONK HIGHWAY (Goodspeed and Tampa) and OPAL (directed by Lynne Taylor Corbett at George St. Playhouse and Dallas Lyric, co-produced by Shubert Organization).
He is the recipient of the Richard Rodgers Award, the AT&T Award, and the Gilman Gonzalez-Falla Award given at Lincoln Center.
He has also collaborated with Arthur Miller on an operatic adaptation of DEATH OF A SALEMAN, Joss Whedon, and written five projects for Disney Feature Animation.
A Robert Lindsey-Nassif Songbook was performed at the Lincoln Center Bruno Walter Auditorium in 2016.
Rob has composed several operatic and symphonic commissions. His work is published by Concord Theatricals, Theatrical Rights Worldwide, and Hal Leonard.

CAVAN HALLMAN
Story
Cavan Hallman’s plays have been performed at the National WWII Museum, National Czech & Slovak Museum, Strawdog Theatre, Donny’s Skybox, The Artistic Home, RhinoFest, KAPOOT, The Elm, Seattle Fringe, and Columbia College Chicago. His plays for young audiences have received over 15,000 performances in elementary schools across the country for an audience of over 5 million students and teachers. He has performed Off-Broadway, along with other roles in New York, Chicago, New Orleans, and Cork, Ireland, where he presented his solo show Not Easily Forgotten. Cavan’s fiction has been featured in the Southern Writers’ Reading Series and the Cane River Reading Series, and his theatrical essays have been featured in PerformInk.
Cavan is the founding Artistic Director for Mirrorbox Theatre, currently in its third season as the only company in Iowa that exclusively presents contemporary plays in their Iowa premieres. For Mirrorbox he has directed the Iowa premieres of Exit Strategy, Red Speedo, Luna Gale, There Is A Happiness That Morning Is, Sender, and Orange Julius. He serves as the producer for Mirrorbox’s nationally recognized online reading series, Out the Box, where he has directed over a dozen performances.
He is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is a Resident Artist with The CRY HAVOC Company in NYC and holds an MFA in Playwriting from the University of New Orleans, for whom he has also taught acting and scriptwriting.
